Red Letter Investment Group, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Red Letter Financial Manager application ("Application"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Application.
1. Information We Collect
When you connect a QuickBooks Online company to the Application, we access and store the following data:
- Financial Transactions: Purchases, deposits, invoices, transfers, and related metadata (dates, amounts, vendor names, account names, memo fields)
- Account Information: Chart of accounts, account names, and account types from your QuickBooks Online company
- Company Information: QuickBooks Online Company ID (Realm ID) and company name
- Authentication Tokens: OAuth 2.0 access and refresh tokens required to access QuickBooks Online on your behalf
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data exclusively for:
- Automated categorization of financial transactions
- Generating financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Consolidated reporting across Red Letter entities
- Identifying intercompany transactions for elimination
- Providing financial insights and alerts
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your financial data with any third parties. Your data is used solely within the Red Letter family of companies (Red Letter Investment Group, Red Letter Connect, and Red Letter Nexus) for internal business purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure. OAuth tokens are stored in encrypted configuration files with restricted file system permissions. Access to financial data is limited to authorized personnel within Red Letter Investment Group.
5. Data Retention
We retain financial transaction data for as long as the QuickBooks Online connection is active. Upon disconnection, stored tokens are revoked and transaction data is deleted within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Disconnect:Revoke the Application's access to your QuickBooks Online data at any time via the disconnect page or directly through QuickBooks Online settings
- Request Deletion: Request deletion of all stored data by contacting us
- Access: Request a copy of all data we have stored related to your QuickBooks Online company
7. QuickBooks Online and Intuit
This Application uses the Intuit QuickBooks Online API. Your use of QuickBooks Online is governed by Intuit's own terms of service and privacy policy. We access your QuickBooks Online data only with your explicit authorization through Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
